Project Refresh Community Connections

We have been busy this season connecting with our community through events highlighting inspirational leaders as well as our first annual Community Impact Dinner.

We have hosted and attended several community events recently including the 2025 MLK Interfaith Service, WJBF’s Giving Your Best Banquet, Project Refresh’s Community Impact Dinner, and the Augusta’s Annual Chamber of Commerce Meeting. We were honored to network with new faces and old friends at each of these events. It has been very inspiring to hear about what others are doing in the community to serve those that are in need.

A special thanks goes out to Jessye Norman School for providing the perfect event space for our first Project Refresh Community Impact Dinner. We also want to thank everyone that attended our dinner. Simply saying yes to a dinner to learn more about your community and the needs that are present as well as the realities that some of our neighbors face is a step towards making a difference. We have been honored to be stewards of the stories of some of our guests and hope that their stories have provided a small snapshot of homelessness and home insecurity in Augusta. We cannot provide radical hospitality to our neighbors without the help and support of individuals in our community and we hope to continue to make vital connections as the services we provide grow.
